The annual "Chip for Charity" Golf Outing was another huge success. Over 250 golfers were in attendance making it again the largest golf outing in the state of Wisconsin. Jim Keck, President of SPSI ( Golf Outing Sponsor), wife Nancy Keck ( Golf Outing Volunteer Coordinator), PND Vice Presidents,Carolyn & Brad Hoffman, Sue and Dan Garman and the many volunteers tremendous efforts made for another successful event! The Chip for Charity Golf Outing held in honor of Sam Hoffman (SSADH) has become the largest supporting fundraiser of the PND Association and over the years has raised over $100,000.

Flags were flying and the day began with a beautiful tribute to September 11th led by a singing quartet who sang "America the Beautiful". Amongst the many golfers and friends this year were PND M&S Advisory Board Members K. Michael Gibson PhD., Keith Hyland PhD, PND Treasurer and President John & Nancy Speller, Kimberly & Jeff Speckman , and Anne Kearney. A warm welcome to first time attendee, Mike Casey PND Board member from California. A special thank you went out to PND Friends Bruce and Christine Hoffman who over the years have generously donated there time and money to the golf outing and the PND Association.

No winners for the $100,00 Hole in one but there were plenty of winners throughout the day. Brad Hoffman closed the evening by eloquently reminding us of the importance of the day's events by sharing the story of Jake Hall the youngest child diagnosed with SSADH. Dr. Hyland and Gibson also shared how funds raised directly assist families affected by PND's.

The weather was beautiful, the food was great, lots of laughs were had and all had a wonderful time. HOLD THE DATE FOR NEXT YEAR.

THANK YOU TO THE 2003 GOLF COMMITTEE, JIM KECK, NANCY KECK, CAROLYN HOFFMAN , AL NOSBUSCH, TOM KOCH, SUE GARMAN AND ALL THE EVENT VOLUNTEERS FOR MAKING THIS POSSIBLE.

The sun was shining, the children were playing and everyone had a wonderful time at the First Annual Family Affair Fundaiser. The event ws held in beautiful North Conway, New Hampshire in honor of 2 year old Ryan Drew ( TH Deficiency).

PND Board Members Darlene & Kyler Drew, grandparents Jeanne & Gary Davis and the many community volunteers and friends have done it again and their herculean efforts made for a huge success!

The entire town of North Conway came out for the fun filled event, which included children rides, rock climbing, dancers, music, great food and a warm visit form New Hampshire's Governor Craig Benson. Ryan Drew had a merry old time bustling around with brother Joshua and sister Katia. PND Board Members Nancy and John S peller and children Katie and Alec also had a blast. The event also included a raffle, silent auction and visits from clowns, jugglers and community performers.

What a wonderful way to help the families and children of the PND Association. Thank you to all the community sponsors and volunteers. An extra special thank you to Jeanne and Gary Davis for there continued support on behalf of the PND Association.
